2026 Airstream Basecamp 16X Camper
The rugged X package for Airstream's Basecamp series has been available for several years. For 2026, it's now standard on both the two-person 16X and four-person 20X. Both models get a 3" suspension lift for greater ground clearance, stainless steel rock guards and a window shield, dual-burner gas stove, sink, 12-V fridge/freezer, and an optional microwave. The 16X has an 88-L fridge, a wet bathroom with hot water, a ducted furnace, and LED lighting; the 20X has a larger fridge. Both also have a rear hatch to allow for loading of larger items.
