Alpinestars Supertech R10 Helmet
Despite making some of the best protective riding equipment for over 60 years, Alpinestars has never made a full-face motorcycle helmet — until now. Over 10 years in development, the Supertech R10 was developed from the S-R10, made for MotoGP and World Superbike riders, and promises to be one of the most advanced lids on the market. The Supertech R10 meets ECE 22.06, DOT, and FIM standards, with a multi-layer shell construction and bonded with an advanced epoxy resin. A base aramid fiber layer is wrapped in a nylon and fiberglass layer, a layer of UD carbon composite, and an outer layer of 3k carbon fiber. A multi-density EPS material liner is designed to absorb rotational forces on impact, similar to MIPS. The R10 has been sculpted for maximum aerodynamics and is hydration system-ready. The 200-unit Supertech R10 Launch Edition Helmet drops July 10, 2024.
