Amazon Kindle Colorsoft
It's taken a long, long time — nearly 17 years, to be exact — but Amazon has finally built a color Kindle. The Kindle Colorsoft has a glare-free, 7" Colorsoft E-Ink display that's high in contrast and yet easy on the eyes, with paper-like color and an auto-adjusting front light. It sits inside a waterproof body that also houses 32GB of storage and a battery that lasts up to eight weeks per charge via USB-C or an optional wireless charging dock. Covers and illustrations pop, and users can highlight favorite passages in yellow, orange, blue, and pink, but despite the color screen, it's an app- and distraction-free device.
