Amida Digitrend Take-Off Edition Watch
While the Amida brand is much older, it truly made its mark with the 1976 of its unique Digitrend. It's now back and thoroughly upgraded in this Take-Off Edition. The sloping car body-inspired case measures roughly 39mm and is crafted from satin-brushed brushed 316L stainless steel. Inside, a Swiss-made Soprod NEWTON P092 automatic mechanical movement and a jumping hour display developed in-house. Instead of being read directly, the movement operates horizontally, with the current hour and minute displayed through a magnifying sapphire crystal prism that faces the wearer on the wide end — a patented system the film calls a Light Reflecting Display. It sits on a stainless steel link bracelet or an orange calfskin-lined charcoal Alcantara strap. Available for pre-order starting May 28th.
