Apex the Stegosaurus
While it was an herbivore, the stegosaurus' spiked tail indicated they needed protection from predators, and thus many stegosaurus fossils exhibit damage from combat. The most complete and best-preserved specimen of its size ever found, Apex the Stegosaurus has no combat damage and recently set the record for the most valuable fossil ever sold at auction. Notably, Sotheby's collaborated with the owner from 2022 to document Apex's discovery, excavation, restoration, and mounting. The resulting fossil is virtually complete, measuring 11 feet tall and 20 feet long, a remarkably preserved example of the 150 million-year-old creature and the true "apex" of its kind.
