Apple iOS 14
It's taken over a decade, but Apple's finally reimagining the iPhone's home screen with iOS 14. Borrowing from watchOS, it supports data-rich, interactive widgets directly on the Home screen, including a "Smart Stack" that automatically updates with information relevant to the time of day or its location. To help deal with app overload, it intelligently organizes all apps in an App Library, with the ability to remove full pages of apps that aren't used frequently. Finally, there's picture-in-picture support for video and an overhaul of Siri that no longer takes over your screen and supports on-device dictation. Arriving on iPhones this Fall, with many of the same features coming to iPadOS 14, along with improved Pencil support.
