Apple Pencil Pro
Alongside new iPads, Apple this week introduced new companions: the Pencil Pro and 2024 Magic Keyboard. The former adds a pressure sensor that enables a new squeeze feature to bring up contextual menus, navigated by a "barrel roll" gesture powered by an internal gyroscope. Like the second-gen Pencil, it syncs and charges automatically when stuck to the side of the new iPad Pros and Airs, but adds a haptic engine for tactile feedback. It's joined in the lineup by a new Magic Keyboard, which offers a larger trackpad, a function row at the top, and an aluminum wristpad to offer a Macbook-like feel.
