AleSmith Speedway Stout Beer

Most of the coffee stouts on the market today owe a debt of gratitude to Speedway Stout ($12) from AleSmith Brewing. It wasn't the first Imperial Stout to have a strong coffee profile, but certainly set the tone for plenty of other big coffee stouts that have followed in its tire tracks. It's a huge stout with plenty of chocolate and coffee, both that play well off each other, providing an excellent balance that is incredibly easy to drink. But there's no need to race to the finish when navigating this Speedway, at 12% ABV, it's best to just stay in your lane and enjoy the ride.

  • Newcastle Werewolf Beer

If you're an ardent HBO viewer, you might think this is a True Blood tie-in — and while that's not nearly as far fetched as we'd like to believe, it's still not the case. Newcastle Werewolf Beer ($9/6-pack) is instead one of four Newcastle Limited Edition brews, and features an appropriate blood red color, sweet berry overtones, and just a bit of bitterness that make it a perfect companion for your fall activities.

  • Royal Virility Performance Beer

Not content to simply release a "special edition" brew for the upcoming royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton, BrewDog has gone one better and created Royal Virility Performance Beer (£10; roughly $17). Limited to just 1,000 330ml bottles, this 7.5% ABV India Pale Ale is infused with natural aphrodisiacs like herbal viagra, chocolate, and Goat Weed, as well as "a healthy dose of sarcasm." If you can't marry like royalty, you might as well screw like them.
