Apple TV 4K

It was just a matter of time, but that doesn't make the Apple TV 4K any less welcome. In addition to generally making the menus sharper, the latest upgrade to Apple's familiar black box includes both access to 4K shows and movies from iTunes and 4K streams from services like Netflix and Amazon. It also adds HDR support, plays highly detailed games from the App Store, and of course, includes a Siri remote for voice-powered navigation. Oh, and don't worry about re-buying your iTunes movies — you get upgraded to 4K for free.

  • C Seed 262-inch TV

Weighing in at nearly a ton and stretching over 20 feet diagonally, the C Seed 262-inch TV is a truly massive screen. The 4K display uses black LED technology for improved contrast and offers an impressive 800 nits of brightness to combat bright rooms. There's also an integrated 4K media server, six built-in speakers, and a motorized fabric cover that protects the screen while camouflaging it as a (giant) painting, an effect that's totally believable in a room of adequate size.

  • Loewe Bild 9 TV

Designed by London-based Bodo Sperlein, the Loewe Bild 9 TV combines British design with German engineering. Influenced partly by Art Deco, the TV sits inside one of three metal frames — there's one for a table, a wall, and a free stand — that are hand-forged, ground and polished. When switched on, the 7mm-thin, OLED HDR 4K display automatically slides upwards to reveal a 120W integrated soundbar. Should you want more audio performance, the TV also connects wirelessly with the company's Klang 9 speakers and has an integrated 5.1-channel decoder to eliminate the need for a separate box. There's also a built-in 1TB digital recorder, built-in apps for most popular services, and fabric cover to conceal all the cords and connections on the back. Handmade in Bavaria and available in Amber Gold or Graphite Grey, in both 55- 65-inch models.
