Audi A1 Quattro

Looking for a compact all-wheel-drive ride? The Audi A1 Quattro ($TBA) should fit the bill nicely, assuming you can get your hands one — they're limited to just 333 units. Features include a 2.0 TFSI engine pumping out 256 hp and a six-speed gearbox that team up to provide 0-62 mph times in the 5.7 second range, and fuel economy of 28 mpg. A metallic white paint job, aggressive looks, and, of course, Quattro all-wheel-drive round out the ride. Sadly, it's Europe-only for now.

  • Toyota GT 86

Why hello there, Supra Toyota GT 86 ($TBA). Aside from its oddball name — Toyota apparently is neither happy with its former sports car moniker nor familiar with the American meaning of "86'd" — the 2+2 looks quite intriguing, with a 2.0L boxer engine producing 197hp, either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission, 17-inch wheels standard, and rear wheel drive. Okay, so maybe it's more of a sporty Corolla than a true Supra replacement, but that doesn't mean we aren't still waiting on one.

  • 2013 Ford Shelby GT500

Did someone build a time machine? The last few years have seen an American horsepower arms race the likes of which hasn't been seen since our fathers were kids, and the 2013 Ford Shelby GT500 ($TBA) is the latest salvo. Powered by a massive 5.8L supercharged V8, the GT500 boasts 650 horsepower and 600 lb. ft. of torque, making it the most powerful production V8 in the world and enabling speeds of over 200 mph. Other features include a carbon fiber driveshaft, a beefier clutch, transmission, and axle, Brembo brakes, a launch control system to keep that power flowing to the pavement, and Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperCar G: 2 tires. Your move, Chevy.
