Beck x Warby Parker Eyeglasses

In honor of Beck's recent musical release Songreader — a book of sheet music, not an album, meant to be played by fans, not listened to — Warby Parker has released a limited edition pair of frames called the Carmichael. These Beck x Warby Parker Eyeglasses ($95) are available in two colorways and two variations: rootbeer and crystal colors in both eyeglasses and sunglasses. They feature a round lens and a keyhole bridge, lending a style they describe as a cross between bookish and bohemian. As usual, the lenses are made from impact-resistant polycarbonate, while the frames are made from high-quality cellulose acetate. No matter what you choose, they're the perfect glasses to wear when you sit down with your instrument of choice, read, and play.

  • Spy Fold Sunglasses

Packing for a short trip can be a complete pain, especially when space in your bag is at a premium — next time you're getting ready to head out, pack a pair of Spy Fold Sunglasses ($120). In addition to being great sunglasses (they block 100 percent of UVA, UVB, and UVC rays), they fold at six points letting them fit easily into a small pocket. They are made from Grillamid, a nearly-indestructible plastic, and feature long-lasting five-barrel-and-pin hinges. Choose from two models, both with matte black frames, and either black mirror or gray lenses.

  • Vinylize Eyeglasses

You know by now that your favorite album sounds better on vinyl (it's hardly a secret), but because not every record can be a hit, some are destined for a higher purpose — like making Vinylize Eyeglasses ($450). Using a specialized process years in development, they take colorful cellulose acetate and face it with the vinyl from recycled records. They offer a range of styles featuring chunky frames, modern lines, and brightly-colored accents. Each pair comes fitted with demo lenses, is prescription-ready, and includes a carrying case made from a seven-inch single folded and fitted with a zipper.
