Bell & Ross BR-X1 Tourbillon Sapphire Watch

Sapphire is commonly used to cover watch dials, and often, used on the opposite side to provide a view into the inner workings. The Bell & Ross BR-X1 Tourbillon Sapphire Watch goes one better by building its entire case out of sapphire. The process takes hours of machining and polishing just to make a single case, comprised of nine separate parts. In addition to its namesake Flying Tourbillion, it also has a mono-pusher chronograph function, both of which are highly visible thanks to the case. Rhodium plating on the markers and hands joins the Superluminova in creating a timepiece that almost glows in certain light. Finished with a strap made from translucent rubber and metallic Kevlar weaving.

  • Bre & Co. Origami Watch

Meant to be a signifier of your worth — not in terms of money, but in terms of your importance to friends and family — the Bre & Co. Origami Watch is not your typical timepiece. As the name suggests, the multi-faceted stainless steel case is inspired by the Japanese art of folding paper, and it holds an Eterna 309A movement that powers the three hands and date function. The back, however, holds a surprise — a half-ounce American eagle liberty gold coin embedded inside, to serve as a tactile reminder of your value.

  • G-Shock G-Steel Watch Collection

It's true that a great number of G-Shock's legendary watches have had resin bodies. It's also true that the G-Shock G-Steel Watch Collection boasts far more than just metal bodies wrapped around the same guts. This line of watches has an integrated solar panel that converts even dim lighting into power for the rechargeable battery, and a layered guard structure that uses a double-layer bezel of stainless steel for both sleek looks and impact resistance. There's also both analog and digital time readouts, water resistance to at least 200 meters, and a world time function that lets you easily see the time in other cities around the globe.
