M55 Hybrid Bike

Despite the questionable logic of slapping a motor onto a people-powered device and calling it a "hybrid," the M55 Hybrid Bike ($TBA) deserves a spot on your holiday wish list. It features a built-in electronic motor and batter pack, and uses a sensor to determine when you need extra torque, switching on the motor automatically. Other features include a Fox suspension, Brembo brakes, and an aluminum frame, plus all the smug points that come with owning a "hybrid bicycle."

  • FreeRider SkateCycle

Bored with traditional skateboarding or just looking for something new? The FreeRider SkateCycle ($150) should fit the bill. This unique machines feature front and rear wheels with openings and platforms in the center onto which your feet go. The wheels are joined together by a cross bar that lets riders move their feet from in to out and back again for propulsion. There aren't a ton of tricks developed for them yet, but there's no reason you can't try.

  • Seabreacher

We've seen quite a few personal submarine options lately, but none quite as crazy as the Seabreacher ($65,000 and up). Available in a 155hp, dolphin-inspired J model, or the more badass, shark-bodied 266hp X model, these submersible watercraft can reach up to 50 mph on the surface and up to 25 mph submerged, and are capable of high-speed dives that send the craft launching out of the water. Other features include a snorkel-mounted video camera, an iPod-compatible stereo system, and the ability to scare the bejeezus out of innocent boaters. [Thanks, Kelvin]
