Moss Hotel

Situated on Iceland's famous geothermal spa, the Moss Hotel is the best way to experience the Blue Lagoon. This upscale accommodation offers a total of 62 rooms and suites, built atop a lava flow that dates back to the 1200s. The rooms themselves are contemporary and comfortable, offering floor-to-ceiling windows, terraces, and, in the most premium suite, a private lagoon. The Moss Hotel opens this autumn.

  • The Hollander

You never know who you'll meet in a hotel lobby. Unless you're staying at The Hollander. Housed in Wicker Park's historic Hollander Fireproof Warehouse, it offers 12 private rooms and eight hostel-style shared rooms. The latter offers the option to share your Instagram profile among your roommates, so you'll know a little bit more about each other when you arrive. The furniture is simple and matches the property's industrial style well, and you'll also find a bar/cafe from Metric Coffee, a social room, and a bike shop on site.

Accommodations range from singles to more spacious studios, featuring rain showers and custom King Koil beds. Conveniently located in Chinatown, the hotel is just a short walk from the Arts and Civic District, the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, and some of the city's best restaurants, bars, shops, and cafes.
