Six Flags Banzai Falls Mega Racer

Six Flags Banzai Falls Mega Racer

With a name like that, you just know this thing is gonna be all kinds of fun. The ginormous blow-up water slide has a 22' long dual-lane setup that lets you and your drunk buddies your kids and their friends race down and splash into matching pools. The Banzai Falls Mega Racer ($400) comes with a heavy-duty 13" blower motor that inflates the slide in less than 3 minutes and provides constant air support — so you can kick back and enjoy the fact that you won't have to take the family to the waterpark this year.

  • Orvis Vortex Disc Drag Fly Reel

Although we don't get the chance to do a lot of fly fishing here around the Uncrate office, if we did we'd surely be using this reel. The Vortex VO2 Disc Drag Fly Reel from Orvis ($525-$700) kicks unholy fly fishing butt with its big fish design. It features a composite cork-to-Rulon drag surface which helps to dissipate heat and is very large to help make sure you have enough line, and, well, it simply looks really cool. If you're out there trying to catch your biggest fish yet, make sure you've got this — and plenty of patience — with you.

  • Alpine Blackbird

There are plenty of portable navigation systems out there to choose from, but only one has Alpine's pedigree of GPS and music experience. The Alpine PMD-B100 Blackbird ($700) is a portable, handheld GPS system that comes with preloaded maps of the US and features a 3.6" touchscreen, a built-in antenna, and MP3 playback from the unit's SD slot. The perfect addition to any older car in which the closest thing to these features is a dash-mounted compass and a cassette player.
