Sony LED Light Bulb Speaker

You need light. You want music. Unfortunately, your space only has a solitary light fitting. Not to worry — the Sony LED Light Bulb Speaker can take care of both. As the name says, this multi-function gadget fits into the same fittings as ordinary bulbs, providing up to 360-lumens of app-controlled lighting, as well as an integrated 2 Watt speaker system that's ideal for filling small spaces. It connects with your phone via Bluetooth, and also has a remote that can be paired over NFC, but as with many gadgets this unusual, there's no word yet on a US release.

  • Brick Lamp

Don't bother looking for the power button on the Brick Lamp. You won't find one. This simple LED lighting tool is designed to turn on whenever you pick it up and to rest on either of its four outer wides, letting you direct the light where you need it. It's powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that lasts for up to 5 hours and recharges via USB, and comes in a variety of finishes, including wood, cast concrete, and anodized aluminum.

  • May Day Utlity Light

Sporting a design from Konstantin Grcic, the May Day Utlity Light is just as handy as the utility lights you can buy at the local hardware store. It just looks a lot better. It's crafted from injection-molded opaline polypropylene, feature a hooked handle that doubles as a cord winder, takes standard 60 Watt A19 bulbs, and sports a waterproof push button power switch built into the shade for easy use. Made in Italy and available in black or orange.
