The Hollander

You never know who you'll meet in a hotel lobby. Unless you're staying at The Hollander. Housed in Wicker Park's historic Hollander Fireproof Warehouse, it offers 12 private rooms and eight hostel-style shared rooms. The latter offers the option to share your Instagram profile among your roommates, so you'll know a little bit more about each other when you arrive. The furniture is simple and matches the property's industrial style well, and you'll also find a bar/cafe from Metric Coffee, a social room, and a bike shop on site.

  • La Granja Ibiza

Located on a 20-acre farm surrounded by a forest of pine and citrus trees, the La Granja Ibiza is a members-only retreat in the middle of the Mediterranean. The former private residence now offers nine guest rooms, ranging from an intimate single room to suites with a private garden and terrace, featuring an ancient Iberian aesthetic with arched walls, dark wood beam ceilings and doors, and hammered iron fixtures. A short distance from the farmhouse is a guesthouse with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, lounge area, and private garden. The on-site chef works closely with the farmer and local producers to create the freshest farm-to-table meals, offered family style around the communal table. After dinner drinks are served at the base of a mature carob tree, where you can indulge in an assortment of mezcal-based cocktails and organic wines.

  • Ace Hotel Chicago

Enter now to win a two-night stay at the Ace Chicago, along with a $1,000 airline voucher and $2,500 worth of gift cards from well-traveled brands like Apolis, Ursa Major, and Steven Alan. Enter to win by April 1.

Ace's first property built from the ground-up, the Ace Hotel Chicago will share plenty of features with its sister properties — yet have an identity all its own. The 159-room seven-story hotel will offer a more modern, contemporary interior design than most Ace outposts, as well as a rooftop bar and terrace, the first Stumptown cafe in the Midwest, a full-service restaurant, and plenty of spaces for cultural events. The hotel will open its doors on Sept. 1, and the company is donating 10 percent of revenue from its bookings made in the next month to local groups that support young creatives.
