Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake

We may be reaching peak shooting brake, with the classic British design making a comeback among luxury and high-end performance car makers. Aston Martin released pictures of its latest collaboration with Italian design firm Zagato, taking their Vanquish and turning it into what may be the ultimate hot hatch. The Vanquish shooting brake is still a two-seater, but the extended roofline houses a V-shaped glass panel that reaches from the windshield to the rear of the car. Inside, the interior has seats with the Zagato stylized "Z" pressed into the leather along with some exposed carbon fiber. Aston Martin plans on producing only 99 examples and the Vanquish itself is no more — a fitting way to send off a great grand tourer.
