Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Jumbo RD#5 Watch
The final entry in Audemars Piguet's Research & Development might be the simplest — and the best. The Royal Oak Jumbo Extra-Thin Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon Chronograph RD#5 represents five years of development. That resulted in the all-new Calibre 8100 movement, which has smartphone-like pusher action, a flyback chronograph, and an instant jump minute counter. The case measures 39mm across and just 8.1 mm thick, crafted from titanium with bulk metallic glass (BMG) on the front and rear, with a dark blue Petite Tapisserie dial, 18-carat white gold luminescent bathtub hands and hour markers, and a matching titanium integrated bracelet with BMG links.
