Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon Openworked Watch
In honor of the Royal Oak's 50th anniversary, Audemars Piguet is issuing the model with a self-winding flying tourbillon openworked mechanism for the first time. The watch features a 41 mm stainless steel case with a matching integrated bracelet featuring both satin-brushed and polished finishes. It's powered by an in-house Calibre 2972 movement that's been delicately layered for a 3D effect on the dial, while a flying tourbillon hovers at 6 o'clock. The timepiece is finished with rhodium-toned 22-carat pink gold details, white gold hands and markers, and a sapphire case back displaying the Royal Oak "50-years" oscillating weight.
