Audemars Piguet x KAWS Royal Oak Concept Companion Watch

New York-based artist Brian Donnelly — better known as KAWS — has been making art with his signature Companion character since the 1990s. Now he's teamed up with Audemars Piguet to bring it to the world of Haute Horlogerie in a limited edition Royal Oak Concept Tourbillon watch. The watch's dial is dominated by a 3D Companion figure that appears to be pressing up against the sapphire crystal, with the watch's tourbillon in his chest. This layout required the time display to be shifted to the periphery of the dial, which sits inside a 43mm titanium case with a matching bezel held in place by screws bearing KAWS's signature "x" motif. The watch sits on a light grey textured calfskin strap and is limited to 250 examples.
