Audio-Technica AT-LP7X Turntable
Tracking performance is paramount to accurate reproduction of the audio contained on a vinyl record. Audio-Technica's AT-LP7X turntable was built with a focus on chassis geometry, ensuring the various components were optimally positioned for distortion-free tracking. Those components include a dense MDF plinth with a matte black finish, an optically monitored motor mounted on vibration-dampening rubber bushings, a 20 mm acrylic platter, and a J-shaped aluminum tonearm with a dual-axis gimbal. Finishing off the belt-driven offering is an AT-LT10 headshell with a black AT-VM95E cartridge, an external switching power supply that isolates the AC-to-DC conversion process to prevent it from adding any electrical interference, and spring-based, height-adjustable feet to battle any unwanted vibrations.
