Bak Cabins
Designing and building a house can be a time-consuming, stressful process. The pre-designed cabins offered by Chilean firm Bak make the process simple. Ranging in size from 183 square-foot shelters to multi-bedroom, 1,000 square-foot homes, they're built around a steel structure platform, with thermal and acoustic insulation, black zinc exteriors, pine interior sheathing, and large windows for taking in the surrounding views. For more demanding clients, they also offer custom-designed dwellings that are still built in the same manner using synchronized construction processes that promise to build out 400 square feet of space per month.
