Balmuda The Lantern
Traditional lanterns can evoke nostalgic romanticism while still serving a purpose. Balmuda's version does the same but with modern technology. The design was inspired by heritage models, but uses an LED in place of burning oil, sending its light into a central tube to hide its source. Adjustable brightness lets the lantern go from a flickering candle to an ambient amber glow to a warm white light, the latter serving well as outdoor illumination. The rechargeable battery can last up to 50 hours per charge, and the lightweight, water-resistant body can hold up to light rain or the occasional splash.
