Bang & Olufsen Beolab 90 Monarch and Zenith Editions
Bang & Olufsen has spent a century blurring the line between speaker and sculpture. The Beolab 90 Monarch and Zenith are the final chapter of the brand's five-part Atelier Centenary series, completing a collection that began with the Titan, Shadow, and Mirage editions. The Monarch wraps the angular aluminum cabinet in curved rosewood lamellas that follow the speaker's 360-degree geometry, with six wooden knots and a light-through-wood front stripe breaking the rhythm, and ochre aluminum crowns contrasting the warm wood throughout. The Zenith takes an entirely different approach: six panels each carry 289 anodized aluminum spheres in seven pearl-inspired finishes, a pearl-blasted facemask anodized dark grey to resemble an oyster shell, and a circular mother-of-pearl top lid inlay. Both editions preserve the Beolab 90's acoustic core unchanged, powered by 18 bespoke drivers and 8,200 watts of output, with advanced beamforming technology that steers sound precisely to wherever you're sitting. Each pair arrives with a certificate of authenticity and a miniature aluminum Beolab 90 sculpture in the corresponding finish, presented in a custom aluminum delivery box. Limited to 10 pairs per edition.
