Dubbed Apple Immersive Video, it includes 8K stereoscopic 3D video with a 180-degree field of view and Spatial Audio and thus requires specialized equipment to capture. Blackmagic's URSA Cine Immersive is one such option. As the world's first commercial camera system designed to capture Apple Immersive Video, it has a fixed, custom lens system designed specifically for Apple Immersive Video, delivering 8160 x 7200 resolution per eye with pixel level synchronization and 16 stops of dynamic range, so cinematographers can shoot 90fps immersive video to a single file. 8TB of built-in high-speed storage supports hours of shooting, and when it's time to edit, Blackmagic's DaVinci Resolve Immersive software is built to work with the 3D video files, including an option for monitoring on a connected Apple Vision Pro headset.
