Blancpain X Swatch Fifty Fathoms Blue Lagoon Watch
Like its corporate cousin the OMEGA Speedmaster, Blancpain's classic Fifty Fathoms has received several Swatch-ified releases. The latest is the Blue Lagoon. True to its name, it has a 42.3mm turquoise-blue Bioceramic case with a matching crown, a blue sun-brushed dial, and a dark blue unidirectional Bioceramic bezel. The latter's diving scale joins the hour indexes, hour and minute hands, and the tip of the seconds hand in receiving Grade A Super-LumiNova fill for legibility in the dark. It's powered by a SISTEM51 mechanical movement featuring an illustration of a lagoon and the Tambja Mullineri nudibranch, visible through the sapphire glass caseback, and sits on a two-piece NATO-style strap made from recycled fishing nets.
