Bowers & Wilkins Nautilus 30th Anniversary Speaker
Introduced 30 years ago, the Bowers & Wilkins Nautilus was groundbreaking, using a shell-inspired, four-driver design to overcome the limitation of traditional loudspeaker enclosures. To celebrate the anniversary, the company has made a unique pair in Abalone Pearl — a color that references both the 30th anniversary and the marine mollusk that inspired the speaker's name. While the Abalone Pearl model is a one-off, the company is still building the speakers in other colors. Each pair is hand-made to order in Worthing, England, with a single enclosure taking over a week to build before sanding, painting, or polishing — as a result, the waitlist for a new pair remains long and currently stands at two years.
