Brian Eno Turntable II
In 2021, legendary musician, composer, and artist Brian Eno released a limited run of 50 turntables, notable for their integrated LED lighting. This year he's back with an updated model that's (slightly) less limited. The Turntable II eschews the traditional rectangular shape of the original for a circular resin body and a precision-cast acrylic platter, both of which benefit from RGB LEDs that slowly change colors as the music plays. The belt drive motor supports 33- and 45-rpm playback, while the white Pro-Ject aluminum tonearm, Ortofon white 2M cartridge, and gold-plated RCA connectors keep the sound quality high. 150 handmade pieces and 20 artist proofs will be available from the Paul Stolper Gallery beginning Tuesday, February 13th.
