Cabot Lofoten Links
Located above the Arctic Circle, Lofoten Links started as a six-hole course in 1998. By 2015, it had a full 18-hole layout. Thanks to a new investment by luxury golf firm Cabot, it's primed to become much more. Set along the rugged shores of Norway's remote Lofoten Islands, it's the world's northernmost links-style track, with the promise of 24-hours-a-day golf in the summer and Northern Lights views when semi-darkness sets in. Cabot promises a larger permanent clubhouse as part of its investment, high-end accommodations, dining, and the potential for a second 18-hole course, turning these hard-to-access links into a true golf destination.
