Cadillac CT5 Sedan
The Cadillac CTS brought the venerable American luxury marque into the modern era. It's gone now, but GM has its replacement ready for the New York Auto Show and has released images and specs a few weeks early in the form of the 2020 CT5. The CT5 is built on an updated version of the Alpha platform that also underpins the Camaro and outgoing CTS — which is good news, as those cars have a reputation for great handling. Engine choices are a turbo-charged 2.0-liter four-cylinder and a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6. Cadillac didn't specify power figures, but those are the same engines available in the larger CT6 and make 237 and 404 horsepower respectively and should carry over to the CT5. A 10-speed transmission backs up each motor in both rear- and all-wheel-drive models. Expect more details when the car debuts in just over a month in New York.
