Callaway Elyte Drivers
For the last few years, AI-derived features have headlined Callaway's new golf clubs. With the Elyte drivers, they used the quaint approach of iteration. The new, more aerodynamic shapes of the drivers provide massive boosts of up to 1.3 mph of clubhead speed and up to 2.1 mph of ball speed. This was made possible by using titanium 3D printers to generate dozens of designs, settling on a lower profile near the hosel and a raised trailing edge. These are seen throughout the line, which includes the Elyte, the draw-biased Elyte X, the speed-focused Elyte Max Fast, and the low-spin Elyte Triple Diamond. Other notable improvements include a Thermoforged Carbon crown in the first three and a new AI face boasting 25,000 contact points for tighter dispersion. The new Elyte drivers will be available for pre-order on January 17th ahead of a release on the 24th.
