Capsule House K
For the first time, architecture enthusiasts can spend a night in the Capsule House K. The forest retreat was designed by the founder of Metabolism, Kisho Kurokawa, and completed in 1974. it's modeled after the designer's Nakagin Capsule Tower, which was demolished in 2022, and features the building's same capsule aesthetic. The interior includes three bedrooms, a kitchen, a tea room, and a futuristic lounge space with control panel fixtures, each with a porthole window framing views of the treetops. Each space has been completely restored o preserve its original details, giving guests an authentic experience.
