The syrup is aged in a craft distillery bourbon barrel for a minimum of six months for an added boost that's as welcome in a cocktail as it is covering a short stack. The syrup arrives packaged in a clear glass bottle with a heavy base and is capped with a synthetic cork with a wooden top.
