Darc Mono Expedition Vehicle
Carbon fiber monocoques are common in racing and high-end sports cars. Darc is using them to build off-road campers. The application of this technology allows for extra-large windows providing 270º views, a 35% weight reduction, better temperature and noise isolation, and additional payload support. It sits atop a current-generation Iveco Daily 4×4 chassis with 36" all-terrain tires, permanent AWD, and an adaptive suspension system, while inside there's 6' 7" of headroom, searing, an office area, bathroom, kitchenette, 4K projector, sound system, and a lower able queen-sized bed. Darc plans to begin taking orders in March with deliveries beginning in August.
