Denon AVR-5805 Receiver
Amongst the largest audio components we've ever seen, the Denon AVR-5805 ($6,000; April 14) actually seems like it would be overkill for us, even with our 50" TVs. This beast features 170 watts x 10 channels (10!!??) of power, THX Ultra 2 certification, processing for virtually ever surround format out there, the ability to send audio from four different sources to four different rooms, a bevy of component, DVI, and HDMI inputs and outputs, six each of optical and coaxial digital audio inputs, and an ethernet port. Although there is a power cord, beware — we've heard it actually gets its power by eating small children. More pics after the jump.
