Devon Star Wars Watch
The TIE Fighter would be an incredibly complex machine, if it were real. The Devon Star Wars Watch is real — and incredibly complex. It's powered by a belt-drive system that uses four glass-reinforced nylon time belts paired with four microstep motors to display the time, with a grand total of 313 electrical contacts and 350 individual parts. The design was inspired by Darth Vader, and has a number of details that recall the iconic character, including a DLC-coated stainless steel case, TIE Fighter wings on either side of the main display, lugs that match the points on Vader's helmet, and a special leather strap that's ribbed just like his gloves. Only 500 of these timepieces will be built, making it a truly desirable collectible for die-hard Star Wars fans.
