Devon Turnbill HiFi Pursuit Listening Room Dream No. 3

Known for his OJAS audio brand — among other creative pursuits — Devon Turnbill is an audio engineer with the soul of a Scandinavian designer. His latest installation turns Andrew Carnegie's former library into a sustained listening space. The system is dominated by two huge, custom-built speaker sculptures, with large woofers in between, tube amplification, and dual turntables. Seating from USM Modular Furniture and textiles by Kvadrat complete the space, which is on view through July 19, 2026, as part of SFMOMA's Art of Noise exhibition.
