Dyson Automated Chore Robots
Dyson already makes robot vacuums that can clean up floors. They're working on robots to do a number of other household chores, as well. As part of a presentation at the International Conference on Robotics and Automation, the company revealed that they're looking to hire as many as 700 engineers to join their secretive robotics team, with a goal of developing an autonomous device capable of household chores and other tasks. Their plan is to have the technology in homes by the end of the decade, which while ambitious, is certainly welcome news for anyone who'd like to regain a few hours of their time every week.
