Erik and Leanne Ford's Venice Retreat

Buck Mason cofounder Erik Ford and HGTV designer Leanne Ford, the husband and wife duo with jealousy-inducing taste, reimagined this Venice sanctuary after losing their home in the Palisades Fire. The compound includes a two-story main residence and a detached guest house totaling four bedrooms and five bathrooms. The interiors reflect the refined aesthetic of Buck Mason, paired with Leanne's white-on-white signature approach. She eliminated a kitchen wall to create a light-filled cooking space anchored by Gaggenau appliances and Dornbracht fixtures. Fourteen-foot ceilings and wide-plank engineered white oak floors extend throughout both structures. Fleetwood doors dissolve the boundary between interior and exterior spaces, opening both buildings to a private courtyard with heated saltwater pool, spa, and bamboo grove.
