Even Realities G1 Smart Glasses
The tech giants are racing to create augmented reality glasses that look like normal eyewear. Startup Even Realities is taking a solid step in that direction with the G1. They combine optical and display lenses using a special eco-friendly adhesive that seamlessly bonds the two without increasing thickness. Working with a companion app, they offer real-time translation, directions, notification display with a lift of the head, hidden teleprompter features, and typical AI assistant chores like note-taking and recall. The lightweight frames adopt a classic panto silhouette and have touchpads on the earpieces to activate the microphones, reducing the risk of unwanted listening.
