Fiat Topolino EV
Fiat is known for its small cars. Yet the Topolino is so small it doesn't even qualify as a car — instead classified as a quadricycle, as Europeans already know. At Miami Art Week, Fiat's CEO confirmed it's coming to the US. It measures just over 7 feet long and 3 feet wide, and is powered by an eight-horsepower electric motor, delivering a top speed of 28 mph and roughly 45 miles of range. Official specs and plans for the US market have yet to be revealed, but it seems at least somewhat likely that it will be labeled a Low-Speed Vehicle, putting it in the same class as road-legal golf carts and UTVs, meaning it could be used for urban mobility but surely won't be seeing action on highways. Should that happen, it might also increase the odds of the US seeing the Topolino Dolcevita model, which replaces the sunroof and hard doors of the standard model with a roll-in soft top and door ropes.
