Filson Foul Weather Jacket

Vintage military tents needed to be tough, as they were often the only shelter the soldiers had. Filson's Shelter Cloth is inspired by the fabric used to make them and features in this Foul Weather Jacket. The tightly woven outer fabric is fully saturated with liquefied wax from British Millerain for water resistance and is lined with dry-finish Cover Cloth lining as an added barrier. One-piece construction over the shoulders and a storm flap covering the two-way front zipper provide reinforcement against the elements, as do snap-tab adjustable sleeve cuffs with inner rib-knit cuffs and drawcords at the waist, hem, and removable hood. Finished with sueded-cotton Moleskin lining at the collar and on the hand pockets, it also has an inner zipper for compatibility with Filson's zip-in liners.
