FUJIFILM X Half Camera
Half-frame cameras were generally smaller and more affordable than their full-frame counterparts, deriving their name from their ability to double the number of exposures on a roll of 35mm film by taking up only half the frame, with a distinctive vertical aspect ratio. The FUJIFILM X Half pays homage to these in digital form. Compact and lightweight (just 8.5 oz), it has physical controls like an aperture ring, Frame Advance Lever, and optical viewfinder that recall its analog predecessors. As with all FUJIFILM X-series cameras, it has multiple Film Simulation modes, which pair well with the 1" 17.7-megapixel back-illuminated sensor and 10.8mm f/2.8 prime lens. Other key functions include the ability to combine two shots into a single 35mm-format side-by-side image, a dedicated smartphone app, and the ability to print directly from the camera to select FUJIFILM Instax smartphone printers.
