Girard-Perregaux Casquette 2.0 Saint Laurent 02 Watch
Released in 1976, the original Girard-Perregaux Casquette was considered avant-garde, with a quartz movement and wearer-facing tubular LED display, in one of three finishes: steel, gold plated steel, or Makrolon. Last year, Girard-Perregaux teamed with Saint Laurent on a black ceramic remake that recalled the Makrolon reference. A year later, they're back with the Casquette 2.0 Saint Laurent 02, which pays homage to the steel version. Despite its coloring, both the 42mm case and integrated bracelet are crafted from Grade 5 titanium, with a rubber backing on the latter for added comfort. It's powered by a Calibre GP3980 quartz movement enabling hours, minutes, seconds, day, date, month, year, chronograph, second time zone, and "secret date" functions, all displayed on the red LED display. Limited to 200 examples, it's available exclusively from the Saint Laurent Rive Droite and at the Saint Laurent boutiques in Paris and LA.
