Goose Island Brasserie Noir Beer
Goose Island is one of the pioneers of boozy, barrel-aged stouts with more than 25 years of experience. Their latest success — aged in the same barrelhouse where the legendary Bourbon County Stout matures — is Brasserie Noir: an imperial stout aged in Cabernet barrels for up to 12 months. The Cab barrels infuse some sweetness, acidity, and dark fruit flavors into the beer, which weighs in at 11.3% ABV in 765ml bottles.
