Grand Seiko SBGK017 Watch
Grand Seiko channels its Japanese heritage for the SBGK017. Inspired by Nanbu tekki ironware, the ancient form of metal work has been a tradition in the Iwate prefecture for over 400 years. The method produces a unique texture called arareor hailstoneon and is featured on the watch's dark gray dial. Its 39mm stainless steel case is polished using a special Zaratsu method and topped with a domed sapphire crystal, while the minute and power reserve indicator hands are shaped by hand to mimic the crystal's contour. The piece is finished with a 9S63 caliber movement with a 72-hour power reserve.
