Guinness 200th Anniversary Export Stout
The first eight barrels of Guinness beer sent to the United States arrived in South Carolina 200 years ago. Inspired by the same export stout recipe from 1817, Guinness is commemorating this milestone with a special release. The beer is brewed with Black Patent Malt and Golding Hops at the Open Gate Brewery in Dublin, where Guinness brewers experiment with new styles — and in this case, reinterpret historical brews.
