Hardy The Royal Commemorative Reel Set
Hardy has been building fly reels in Alnwick, England since 1872, and the Perfect, first launched in 1891, remains the longest-running reel design in the sport. The Royal Set pairs two limited-edition Perfects to mark the passing of Queen Elizabeth II and the succession of Charles III. The Queen's reel is a 3-inch Perfect with a 1912 check, red agate line guard, polished silver finish, gold anodized foot, and ivorine handle, modeled after her Diamond Jubilee reel. The King's reel is a 4-inch Perfect with a salmon check system, Turk's head lock screw, and commemorative engraving, based on the reel gifted to Prince Charles at his wedding. Both arrive in a leather display case with commemorative coins. Limited to 250 sets worldwide.
