Ilo Playhouse

Named after the Finnish word for joy, the Ilo Playhouse gives the traditional childhood shelter a sophisticated update. The play cabin borrows from Scandinavian design to create a sculptural backyard refuge for miniature minimalists. Its simple, mono-pitch design and timber cladding resembles Nordic alpine retreats and features multiple openings to allow for a constant connection with nature. Each Ilo is prefabricated off-site and can be delivered fully assembled or flat-packed and built on location.
